Marine-connected storage terminals for refined fuels, LPG and LNG, designed, built, financed and operated by ASKAY.
A terminal is the controlled link between import logistics, storage custody and inland distribution. ASKAY delivers complete terminals, from the jetty and marine pipelines through the tank farm to road and rail loading, and can stay on as operator after handover.
We are currently developing two strategic terminals under our EPC+F and investment JV models: the Erongo LPG & Fuel Terminal in Namibia and the Fujairah LPG & Fuel Terminal in the UAE.
Our scope
Storage
- API 650 atmospheric tanks for gasoline, diesel, gas oil and jet fuel, with floating or dome roofs
- LPG and LNG spheres and bullets designed to pressure vessel codes
- Bund walls, secondary containment and oily-water drainage
- Reserved tie-ins and pipe-rack capacity for phased expansion
Marine interface
- Jetty, berth, buoy (SPM/CBM) and subsea pipeline systems
- Import and export pipelines, loading arms and pigging
- Ship-to-shore communication and ESD link
- Custody transfer metering, sampling and documentation
Road and rail dispatch
- Bottom-loading truck bays with batch control and overfill protection
- Vapour recovery and spill containment
- Optional rail siding and loading gantry
- Terminal automation system for orders, metering and bills of lading
Safety and studies
- Firefighting, foam systems, gas detection and ESD
- Hazardous-area classification
- HAZID, HAZOP, EIA and fire risk assessment
- Operating manuals, transfer procedures and emergency response
